How will it take for my order to be delivered?

Once your order is processed, your shipment will be dispatched within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays.) For customers within the United States, the estimated delivery time ranges between 2 to 5 business days. If your order does not receive any updates within this timeframe, please feel free to contact our dedicated 24/7 customer service team at info@darkchem.com to get an update on your order.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely! You will start receiving tracking updates via email once your order is processed and printed. Expect updates 24 hours after your label has been created. 

What are transit times? (How long does shipping take?)

The average transit times for postage within the United States when shipping with USPS (United States Postal Service) can vary depending on factors such as the distance between the origin and destination, the volume of mail in transit, and any unforeseen circumstances or delays. However, with that said;

– First-Class Mail: Typically takes 1-3 business days for delivery.
– Priority Mail: Estimated delivery within 1-3 business days.
– Priority Mail Express: Offers expedited delivery with an estimated timeline of 1-2 business days.

When will a signature be required?

For enhanced security purposes, orders with a value exceeding $200 or those shipped through reliable carriers such as DHL, UPS, and FedEx require a signature upon delivery. This mandatory signature requirement is in place to safeguard your order from potential loss or theft during transit. Please note that we are unable to waive the signature for such orders.

However, if your order value is $200 or less, a signature is not typically required. Nevertheless, you have the option to request a signature by including a note during the checkout process. Simply provide this instruction in the designated order notes section, and we will ensure a signature is obtained upon delivery.

It is important to be aware that USPS international shipping does not support signature requirements. Therefore, a signature will not be mandatory for international shipments made via USPS.

In the event that a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier will make subsequent attempts to deliver your package. Additionally, they will leave a delivery slip that will allow you to collect the package from the nearest local post office at your convenience.

If you would like to hold the package until a later date, please reach out to us promptly. We can make suitable arrangements to retain the package as long as it has not yet been dispatched. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and flexible delivery experience tailored to your needs.

Can i request a signature for orders under $200?

Yes, we will always offer free signature for any orders to ensure saftey.

How can I modify or cancel my order?

This can be done simply by clicking on “Modify My Order” or by sending us an email once you have placed an order with us. Please note: Orders are held for 1 hour to allow for any modifications or cancellations. After this time we cannot guarantee package interception on a shipped order.

Why is my package Late!?

We understand that package delays can be disappointing. It is unfortunate to note that, statistically, packages are late without valid reasons most of the time. Regrettably, we have no control over such delays caused by the carrier. Therefore, we cannot provide a refund for expedited shipping costs in the event of a shipping delay attributable to the carrier. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding in this matter.r.

What does “Pre-shipment, shipping label created, USPS awaiting item” mean?

Don’t be alarmed, a “Pre-shipment” means that your order has indeed already departed our 3pl and is awaiting an initial scan by USPS. Once your initial scan is logged your order will proceed as usual. It isn’t uncommon for packages to miss an entry scan and receive a scan midway through its journey to you.

My tracking has not updated!

Package tracking is an integral part of the shipping process, and while rare, instances of packages temporarily going off track can occur. However, it is important to note that such occurrences do not necessarily indicate permanent loss. In many cases, allowing sufficient time can result in the package being located and delivered successfully.

For domestic shipments within the United States, if a package does not register any updates for a period exceeding 7 days, we kindly recommend contacting the designated courier directly. They possess the necessary resources and expertise to provide further assistance in locating the package.

Regarding international shipments, should a package fail to show any updates for more than 4 weeks, we advise reaching out to the appropriate courier responsible for the delivery. Their specialized knowledge and international network enable them to investigate and provide insights on the package’s whereabouts.

In the event that the courier is unable to provide conclusive information regarding the package’s location, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will work diligently to address the situation and, if deemed appropriate based on the elapsed time, initiate a free reshipment to ensure your order reaches you successfully.

Wrong, Damaged or Missing items
  • In case of wrong Item(s): we apologize for any inconvenience caused and kindly request that you promptly contact us via email, providing your order number, a detailed description of the incorrect item(s), and accompanying photo(s) for verification purposes. Once confirmed and verified by our dedicated team member, we will expedite the shipment of the correct item(s) at no additional cost. In some cases, our customer service representative may request the return of the incorrect item(s) to Darkchem. Please note that in such instances, we will provide a prepaid return label to facilitate the return process.
  • In the case of damaged Item(s): All Darkchem items are guaranteed, this means that that all Darkchem items are guaranteed to arrive in a safe and intact condition. However, if you receive damaged items, we kindly ask that you promptly contact our customer support team, providing photographic evidence of the damage. Once adequately verified we will ship a replacement immediately.
  • In the case of a missing Item(s): If an item(s) is missing, immediately reach out to our customer support team with your order# and description of what has happened. Once verified by a team member we will ship the missing item(s) promptly.
  • In the unlikely case of an defective Item(s): Absolutely any claim of defect is taken with the utmost seriousness. Defective items include the following: inaccurate concentration, incorrect weight, and inadequate quality.

    For any incorrect weight claims 1)please send us a photo of your product with and without the lid on your scale. 2) Please send us the make and model of your scale.

    For both inaccurate concentration and questions about quality please be prepared to send us your original items for both internal and third party analysis. If adequately verified we will ship a replacement.

Refunds and Returns
  • Returns: We will accommodate a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. See our Return Process page to begin the return process. Due to the possibility of degradation we cannot accept returned items that have been opened, adulterated or specially handled goods, such as those requiring low temperature storage. The exchange or refund will be issued after the items have been returned and verified.
  • Refunds: Where possible we will issue a refund to the original method of payment. If this is not possible we will arrange other means such as check or PayPal. Cryptocurrency will be refunded in terms of the current market value or original payment amount, whichever is lesser.

Chargebacks

We treat all chargebacks and disputes with utmost seriousness and caution. In order to combat fraudulent activities effectively, it is crucial to inform you that any chargeback will lead to immediate inclusion of the customers name on our no-sell list. This measure will remain in effect until we are able to establish direct communication with you to address and resolve the matter appropriately.

It is essential to note that certain countries may enforce specific customs fees, import taxes, regulations, and distinct customs procedures. Should your package necessitate any such fees or taxes as mandated by your customs or postal carrier, it is your responsibility to fulfill the payment obligation. My package says "delivered" but is traveling internationally?

(only applicable for overseas orders) These shipments are called “Hybrid Solutions”.

  1. The inital leg of a Hybrid Shipment is serviced by a local postal provider.
  2. Once the local providers has recieved your package it will take Processing takes 1-3 days to be picked up by a carrier that delivers to your international location.
  3. the journey to your original specified destination begins. Tracking visability can become spotty for internatonal packages, but rest assured your items are on the way.
